The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) on Tuesday (1/12) issued a warning of possible low-medium rainfall in Jakarta.
“Cloudy in the morning, but light-medium rain is expected in West, North, and Central Jakarta,” stated BMKG's Public Relation Division Head, Achmad Taufan Maulana.
BMKG: Rain to Fall in Parts of Jakarta TodayIn the afternoon, light rain will pour in Central, West, and North Jakarta. Then medium rain is expected in South and East Jakarta. At night, Jakarta would see cloudy, except North Jakarta and Thousand Islands.
"At dawn, light-medium rain to pour in West, Central and North Jakarta, including in Thousand Islands," he said.
Temperatures are predicted at 24 to 31 degrees Celsius with humidity of 80 to 95 percent.
BMKG urged residents to be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by strong winds and lightning in South and East Jakarta areas in the afternoon.
